Wonderful work! There were some lockups after death, so I'm glad you included the ability to jump straight to different scenes, and there were a few things that could have been improved upon for readability's sake, like the color and shading of the text.
But beyond that, this was pretty well polished. The controls were responsive with really satisfying feedback on collision, the animations were smooth, the maps weren't too large/repetitive, and the most important thing, the combat, stood out in an intuitive way.
I knew what you were going for without having to read it and I appreciate that the few enemies presented here each felt a bit different. Good job and good luck out there in the gaming world!
Took a look at this for my Twitch stream. Hit a softlock towards what felt like the end, which was disappointing but I guess it saved me from spoiling the end for the viewers. :)
And I mean it, I'd love to see how the team could expand on something like this!
This dude is the perferct babysitter. lol Awesome game! I hope you all become a fantastic company, although I did run into some glitches such as having the game freeze on me and all. But amazing game, ps please add save points!!
Hello! im a bit new to this downloading and extracting stuff. Could someone help me with it? I tried to extract it but ended up just making it a new openable file rather than something to launch. help?
Hi, glad you've enjoyed the experience ! Concerning the future of this particular project, it is unlikely that we will continue to work on it, as we have a lot of work at school, and most members of the team have an internship during holidays. However, this doesn't mean we won't create other games together... :)
Round two! I did encounter a few more bugs this time around, all of which were forgivable and not game breaking. The final boss was impressive visually and stylistically, but I took so many hits it felt a tiny bit broken. More than anything else the visual storytelling has me so curious as to the whole story of the baby, the robot and this world. Who was the boss? Why do we have a baby? Why is this robot caring for it? And why are we brining it to this temple? But for the short experience it was, it was a damn fun one and I'm only disappointed to see it go so soon. Well done, to everyone involved.
Very VERY good for a student project! It reminds me a LOT to Hyper Light Drifter. Still, you have a great potential. If you keep on like this, you will make a remarkable games. Great job!
Thank you very much! Indeed HLD was a "little" reference for us, but we tried our best to create our own experience. Happy to hear that you appreciated it :)
Overall, throughly inpressed! The pixel art is gorgeous, the music is awesome and the combat does so much with so little. Seriously, the slow and drawn out pace makes it really interesting and tense. I was thinking it might be a button spammer when it said it was inspired by Zelda, but it's so damn satisfying. Fantastic job everyone!

32 bits in future?

An interesting little game. We enjoyed it very much. The art is just great.
Here is a short video we made while playing:
Keep up the good work!!!Really cool little game. I love the vibe of a slower paced action game with good atmosphere
why cant I play this game without the controller? Somehow games from itch.io stopped recognising my controller, yet windows does.
I realy want to play this game, so so much.
I haven't played this game because I don't have a gamepad but it looks really fun. The art style reminds me of Hyper Light Drifter.
Why is this game not for windows on itch.io

Hello
Is it okay if we play with the keypad ? Because it doesn't work with it...
Hi, unfortunately, the game is only playable with a gamepad for now :/
Thank you. I guess I'll pick a gamepad from a friend so ^^'
I loved to play this game. Will this game be more expanded or is it the complete version?
I mean, the version number is 0.6, so we can probably expect quite a bit more to come from this game.

Quite unfortunate indeed, but I'm excited to see what you guys have to offer. :)
This is great and gorgeous! What engine did you make this in?
Hi, glad you've enjoyed it! We used Unity to create the whole game :)
I get error 404 when trying to download. Link broken?
